Terms and Conditions

Legacy Global Immigration Inc. is a private immigration consulting firm that provides assistance with immigration related services and travel documentation for Canadian Immigration. Legacy Global Immigration Inc. is an independent firm from the Canadian government and are not associated with any governmental bodies. Parts of our services are regulated by the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) and we adhere to its rules and regulations. Services offered by Legacy Global Immigration Inc. fall into two categories: fixed-price applications and services that require retainers. Upon retaining our services clients acknowledge following:

  • Legacy Global Immigration Inc. is affiliated with licensed immigration consultants who provide legal services on immigration matters to the clients.
  • At Legacy Global Immigration Inc. only Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) can provide legal opinion, advice, explanation, or represent clients in immigration matters.
  • Legacy Global Immigration Inc. is not responsible for documents lost by any third-party services like: Canada Post, courier companies, or any mail services or government office.
  • Legacy Global Immigration Inc. is not responsible for any applications rejections. Applications are rejected at the sole discretion of the applicable government authority.
  • All fees are non-refundable after the application has been submitted to the appropriate government agency.
  • All fees paid are non-refundable 6 months after the payment has been processed if the application has not yet been submitted due to client lacking on client responsibilities (review Client responsibilities below). This also includes unresponsive client, client not submitting documents on timely manner and providing fraudulent documentations.
  • Purchase of a service which requires payment of a retainer also necessitates signature of a retainer agreement. No service will be rendered until the executed retainer agreement is provided and signed by the client and RCIC.
  • Purchase of service indicates the commitment by the client, to pay all fees associated with the service as per the signed retainer agreement.
  • All services are subject to a minimum cancellation fee of $50.00 once the transaction has been processed.
  • Payment in full is due before an application will be submitted to the government.
  • Processing times listed on Legacy Global Immigration Inc.’s website are estimates based on recent historical trends and current information listed by various government agencies, and are subject to change at any time without notice.
  • Legacy Global Immigration Inc. can not be held responsible for any delay in decision making process by the appropriate governmental bodies.
  • Legacy Global Immigration Inc. does not submit any application based on client’s proposed dates and times.
  • Client must treat Legacy Global Immigration Inc. employees respectfully. Any ill behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • The RCIC may decline to accept the matter if they have previous personal or professional commitments that will prohibit them from devoting adequate time to represent the client competently and diligently.
  • The client must realize that the RCIC working with Legacy Global Immigration Inc. are required to respect only legitimate objectives of the client and that the RCIC will not advise or propose positions that are unprofessional or contrary to the rules and regulations of the IRCC.
  • An RCIC working with Legacy Global Immigration Inc. is under no obligation to accept a client if the RCIC determines that the cause of the client is without merit, a conflict of interest would exist or a suitable working relationship with the client is not likely.
  • Any services offered by Legacy Global Immigration Inc. after an unfavorable decision on the application will be require an additional retainer to be signed by the client and RCIC.

Client Responsibilities

When client retains an RCIC from Legacy Global Immigration Inc. to represent them with regard to any type of application, they undertake several responsibilities as a client, including following:

  • Providing all information and necessary documentation such as photocopies of ID documents, completed forms, original documents when necessary, and any other documents which are requested, in a timely manner.
  • Advising Legacy Global Immigration Inc. of any updates to their situation including changes in address or leaving Canada for extended periods of time, any change in contact details.
  • Advising Legacy Global Immigration Inc. of any correspondence they have received directly from any government body in a timely manner.
  • Being honest and forthright about information regarding their application. (Untruthful information can lead to the case of misrepresentation.)

Payment Policy

Legacy Global Immigration Inc. implements and follows the standard payment policy for their employees and clients. The client agrees to be bound by the following terms and conditions with regard to payment:

    • Accepted payment Methods: Visa, MasterCard, Amex (except India).
    • Legacy Global Immigration Inc. does not charge client as a partial amount.
    • All payments and transactions are final as per the retainer agreement.
    • Legacy Global Immigration Inc. agrees to charge the applicant only for service, H.S.T., government fees, delivery charges, and any disbursements if applicable.
    • There are no H.S.T. charges on government fees.
    • HST is only charged to the Canadian clients.
    • Legacy Global Immigration Inc. service fees are additional to any applicable government fees.
    • Legacy Global Immigration Inc. Service Fees are non-refundable once the application is submitted.
    • The application processing period will only commence upon receipt of the funds.
    • The client agrees that Legacy Global Immigration Inc. is not responsible for credit / debit authorization or approval.
    • Legacy Global Immigration Inc. does not save client credit / debit card information neither will accept the information via email / call / text.
    • All payment receipts will be provided electronically over the email provided in the client information form by the client.
    • Legacy Global Immigration receives payment thru stripe payment gateway. For any data breach from Stripe, client can not hold Legacy Global Immigration Inc. responsible.
    • Legacy Global Immigration does not schedule any form of preauthorised payments electronically.
    • If we believe your payment has violated any law or the terms and conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transactions and suspend our services immediately.

    Cancellations

    • All fixed-price services are subject to a minimum cancellation fee of $1000.00 or 10% of the service, whichever is less.
    • Increases to the cancellation fee are assessed for each application in relation to how much work has already been completed on the file.
    • All fixed-price application fees are non-refundable once the application has been submitted to the appropriate government agency.
    • All fixed-price application fees paid are non-refundable 6 months after the payment has been processed if the application has not yet been submitted to the appropriate government agency.
    • If a service is cancelled prior to payment of any balance due, the balance of fees owed for this service are still owed if cancellation is initiated.

    Mail & Courier Services

    • Mailing documents back to the client will cost $25.00 administrative fee, plus the courier fees.
    • Mailing documents to the government will cost the client $50.00 administrative fee and the courier fees.
    • Legacy Global Immigration Inc. will provide tracking by email to the client.
    • Legacy Global Immigration Inc. do not use regular mail (must have tracking).
    • Legacy Global Immigration Inc.  don’t give options on which courier company will be used.
    • Legacy Global Immigration Inc.  don’t take responsibility for documents being rejected by the government or any other authorities.
    • Client is responsible for the tracking of the shipments.
    • Note: all unclaimed application will be shredded for security reasons.

    Consultations

    The standard fee for a consultation is $100 + HST (higher fees apply for other consultation services) which covers a consultation up to one-hour in length either in person or over the phone. Clients will be billed an additional consultation fee for consultations lasting longer than 60 minutes. Consultations are included with the purchase of any Legacy Global Immigration Inc. service. If you purchase a consultation before you decide to use our services, the consultation fee, in most cases, can be credited to your service fees (see the individual application forms for exceptions). If you meet with a Legacy Global Immigration Inc. representative regarding a fixed-price service and choose not to purchase the service at the conclusion of the meeting, you are still obligated to pay the consultation fee.

    Retainer Agreement

    Retaining Legacy Global Immigration Inc. commits you to using Legacy Global Immigration Inc. as your representative for the service purchased and for Canadian Immigration applications in relation to the service purchased. A signed retainer agreement must be provided to Legacy Global Immigration Inc. prior to any work being completed on a file.

    Website Content

    The content on the website is considered as an intellectual property of the Legacy Global Immigration Inc. this includes, but is not limited to text, images, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our site.  

    We strive for complete accuracy with regard to the content on our website, but please be aware that government rules and regulations frequently change without notice and at any time. Legacy Global Immigration Inc. is not responsible for inaccurate information. Please let us know of any information that is not correct.

    Our Site contains links to third party websites or services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party website or service linked to on our Site. It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of these third-party websites before using these sites.

    Legacy Global Immigration Inc. and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from your use of the Site.

    As a user of our site, you agree to use our site legally, not to use our site for illegal purposes. If we believe you are using our site in a manner that violates these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to limit, suspend or terminate your access to the site. We also reserve the right to take any legal step. 

    If you do encounter a discrepancy between our website and our staff, please contact us as soon as you can so we can fix the error. Please include:

    • URL of the webpage and if possible, quote the information you think is inaccurate
    • Name and time you called
    • Name of the person you spoke with

    Response time

    Although the client should expect that his or her letters, telephone calls, emails, faxes, and other communications to the RCIC working at Legacy Global Immigration Inc. will be answered within a reasonable time, the client should recognize that the RCIC has other clients who may be equally deserving of the RCIC’s time and attention. We at Legacy Global Immigration Inc. always do our best to reach our client with the earliest possible timeframe.

    Where your data is sent

    We do not share or client data with anybody other than the RCIC working on you application as mentioned in retainer agreement. Which means your data can not be accessed by any other person or any other entity except your retained RCIC.
