1. Purpose and Nature of Initial Consultation

  • The initial consultation is a 30-minute session designed to understand your immigration-related requirements and provide possible immigration scenarios.

  • The Firm does not guarantee any particular outcome or eligibility determination during this session.

2. One Free Initial Consultation Only

  • You may book a consultation on behalf of another person only if that person is a minor (under 18 years old) or an elderly individual requiring assistance.
  • The person booking must have the legal authority or explicit consent to act on behalf of the individual.
  • For all other cases, the individual seeking advice must book and attend the consultation personally.

4. Use of Online Platforms

  • Consultations are conducted via Microsoft Teams or another secure online platform chosen by the Firm.
  • Clients are responsible for having access to a reliable internet connection, and functioning hardware (camera, microphone, speakers).
  • The Firm is not responsible for technical issues on the client’s side that disrupt the consultation.

  • You will be notified before any recording and must consent to it.
  • You may decline the recording; however, this may limit certain services.
  • Recordings are securely stored and treated confidentially and will not be shared without your consent except as legally required.

9. Post-Consultation Summaries

  • The Firm does not automatically provide written summaries or roadmaps following the free consultation.
  • If you request a written summary, this will be treated as a paid administrative service with a non-refundable fee of $50.00 CAD.
  • Such summaries are general in nature and do not constitute legal advice or a case-specific plan.

10. Group Consultations

  • Consultations are typically conducted one-on-one to ensure privacy and personalized attention.
  • Group consultations may be offered at the Firm’s discretion.
  • Clients attending group sessions acknowledge limited confidentiality and understand the Firm is not responsible for information shared by others in the group.
