Beginning May 21, 2024, we will initiate random invitations to prospective sponsors who expressed interest by submitting a sponsorship form in 2020, inviting them to apply for the 2024 intake. Approximately 35,700 invitations will be dispatched within a span of about two weeks. Our aim is to receive and process up to 20,500 complete applications.

What if you are not invited to apply to sponsor your parents or grand parents?
Your parents and grandparents could qualify to apply for a super visa, allowing them to reside in Canada for periods of up to five years. Additionally, while in Canada, those visiting on a super visa can also request extensions of up to two years to their stay.
